Despite being a strict person, he is Taplow’s favourite because he is hardworking and gives his all to his students. Taplow stated to Frank about Crocker-Harris that he is not sadistic, but he is strict.

He makes his students to ‘stay back after school, to do extra work for missing a class. But he himself doesn’t make it a point to be there such students. He leaves them just to wait. Here his views seem somewhat lax.

Answer: The majority of kids make comments on their teachers. Students are intelligent individuals who are great observers. Teachers serve as role models for pupils, and they are judged not only on their topic knowledge but also on their teaching methods, communication skills, interaction with students, and overall personality and behavior. Teachers should not be upset by the nicknames bestowed upon them by their adoring students. Teachers may mistakenly believe that the boys are illiterate, although this is incorrect. Students’ favorite hobby is talking about professors with their buddies. They extol their qualities while condemning their flaws.

Q2. The manner you adopt when you talk about a teacher to other teachers.

Answer: Normal courtesy requires that we should add ‘Mr’ ‘Miss’ or ‘Mrs’ before the name of the teacher and use his/her full name. A teacher should never be mentioned by the nick name he/she has been given. In other words, our approach should be quite formal. The dignity of a teacher should not be lowered before another, even if the person being talked about lacks some qualities you like most. Our remarks should never be derogatory or rude. It is bad manners to run down our teachers and specially so if it is done in the presence of other teachers. We are judged by our actions as well as words. The other teachers may form a very low and unfavourable opinion about us on the basis of a lapse on our part. Hence we must be extra cautions during our interactions with our teachers.

Answer: There is no doubt that reading plays is more interesting than studying science because reading plays makes us imaginative and provides us ideas about human life and behavior. It has good language that is helpful in building our linguistic skills. It is a source of entertainment and enjoyment. Reading science has its own merits. It provides us knowledge and fill us with modern approach. Practical that we do in laboratories are also useful in daily life. Science makes us our future growth possible.
